Like the literary snob that I am, I picked up and read my first graphic novel rather late into my adulthood (in my early 20s) with much trepidation and wariness. After a few hours of reading, I finally decided to return it to my local library, and promptly hopped on to Book Depository to make my first graphic novel purchase.
